- Agricultural Season Restrictions: Mandatory 60-day halt during peak agricultural periods forces landless agricultural workers into low-wage private employment.
- Wage Floor Removal: The year-round "wage floor" protection provided by MGNREGA is eliminated, attacking workers' legal rights and bargaining power.
- Centralization: Powers are concentrated in the hands of the central government, violating federal principles.
- Removal of Mahatma Gandhi's Name: This disrespects the legacy of the freedom struggle and the historic MGNREGA Act of 2005.
